Mavi is a traditional fermented Caribbean beverage that has been enjoyed for hundreds if not thousands of years in the Caribbean islands: It’s popular in Haiti, Jamaica, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico.

It is a bittersweet drink, you either like it or don’t.

Its good for arthritis, reduces cholesterol, treats diarrhea and may help fight diabetes. These benefits are only present with the traditional fermenting method. I’m using a traditional family recipe for its immune boosting benefits.
