What is Elderberry & Elderflower syrup and why is OG’s syrup better?

Elderberry & Elderflower syrup are not like your tabletop store-bought thick syrups. These are juice-like syrups taken in smaller doses. Elderberries and Elderflowers are rich in vitamins A, C, and B6 as well as iron, potassium, and zinc. However, the elderberries are a potent source of phytonutrients and antioxidants that make their illness-fighting power even stronger! Both have more benefits such as their anti-inflammatory and anti-fungal properties to help combat many infections. The elderflowers have antiviral action and extracts of the fruits that have been shown to inhibit 10 strains of influenza virus types A and B, and HIV and herpes simplex virus. It’s a great way to fight-off many sicknesses and boost your immunity.

OG’s syrups are handcrafted and brewed in small batches in Palm Bay, FL. OG Elderberry Syrup is brewed with only USA grown elderberries which include elderberries we grow locally. A true farm to tablespoon syrup. We use LOCAL raw honey to sweeten our original blend. OG offers three different sweeteners to fulfill your dietary needs. We offer maple, stevia, or honey as mentioned previously. If you would like it with or without sweetener, just choose the option when ordering.

Our Elderberry Syrup Extract is PURE Organic Elderberry. We offer it with sweeteners, but nothing else is added. So you get access to the purest elderberry. Just one tablespoon a day, keeps the flu and viruses away!

Our elderflower syrup is handcrafted and infused in small batches in Palm Bay, FL . There are only 3 ingredients in our traditional elderflower syrup: RO water, organic cane sugar, organic lemon juice.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ELDERFLOWER AND ELDERBERRY?

There are slight differences between the elderflower syrup and the elderberry syrup. Believe it or not, they are one in the same because they come from the same elderberry shrub. The elderflower taste is a cross between a muscat grape and a lychee whereas the elderberry has a mild berry flavor. The Elderflower does not contain antioxidants; however, it is just as powerful as its elderberry. Both are great choices and can be used together. Powerful foods !
